We have found several great articles and forums that seem to have a common thread among them - someone involved in the judcial system of Preble County who is fighting for what's right.
We love Eric White.
We will begin to post those items as time permits.
In the meantime, we would like for Mr. White to know that he is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. I, along with local resident Mary Bullen have successfully sued PC Commissioners over public records request concerning an almost lease of a county landfill. currently, since 10 15 04 I have been in tax appeals court on behalf of Gasper twp. We won but now face appeals. Let me tell you how PC operates. The Preble County Budget Commission filed an appeal, claiming they never got our appeal of undivided funds (state money, divided locally, by the budget commission.) This plea came to light when asst prosecutor noticed nearly 2 years later, someone from the county commissioners office, had signed for the registered mail. Even though the commissioners office is used as a mail room, all of a sudden, the budget commission never received the appeal. The asst. prosecutor, who was not in the employ of PC at the time of our original filing and had no way of knowing that the budget commission was well aware of the filing, was allowed to proceed with the appeal. In early December of 04, auditor and secretary of the budget commission (also head of the republican exec committee of PC) Harold Yoder openly discusses the appeal in a county commission meeting with Commissioner David Wesler, who admit-tingly spoke about the appeal to Lauvon Mantle, the Gasper Twp. Clerk on Thanksgiving of 04. The appeal was mailed 10/15/04. Do you think the county received the Gasper Appeal? Mr. Yoder went on to describe the appeal as a "moot point" informing Wesler that the county had a veto power over any changes to the formula, not being familiar with then Prosecutor Ferguson's voice, a female on the CD confirms Hals explanation, I believe it to be Ferguson. The appeal was not a moot point as suggested, it actually takes the division of these funds away from the county, and leaves the responsibility with the state board of tax appeals. Here it is 2007, unresolved, Yoder and Ferguson, both retired. I suggest Yoder did not inform the villages because of the moot point, not that he didn't receive it.
A couple of months ago, in the same week, 2 residents, one who served on an advisory committee for public defenders and a former county official stopped by my business and told me how mad every one at the courthouse was at me. One stated, "I'd better watch it, they would try to frame me" the other suggested " I may be the next Hellrigle".

My goodness, you are truly putting your life on the line, as are many who are working to expose the circumstances of the Preble County "powers that be". We welcome you to our forum and are most grateful for your contribution, both here and in Preble County as a whole.
We encourage the documentation of any warnings or threats, whether direct or implied. Should any harm come, the public both near and far will be witness as this forum has reached a nationwide audience and has some very influential watchers checking in now and then.

Pleae do start posting the articles. Some may be very surprised to see that Eric really acts on issues rather than just complaining about them or critizing others who are trying to change bad to good.

One stated, " I'd better watch it, they would try to frame me" the other suggested " I may be the next Hellrigle". This doesn't surprise me because similar things were said to us. I got more than one threat from certain LEOs & finally I went to Donnette Fisher for help. She offered to me to file a formal complaint but I declined however she suggested that she might talk to someone in their department. What ever was said or not said the threats & intimidation stopped. Up to that time the whole family was getting them some threats worse than others & a few were actually acted upon by the perpetrators. There was a lot of real danger there at that time but not everybody believed us. There was one in particular who as much as called us all liars never ever acknowledging that there was even a possibility what we were saying was true. But we never had any reason to lie. They had already done the unthinkable & we were ready & able to prove it until justice itself was stolen from us. I hear its hiding in the law! (Actual "someone has stolen justice & hidden it in the law" author unknown to me.

Copwatcher - I had no idea you had to endure all that you did - on top of everything else no less. I am so terribly sorry for what you have been through. Reading Clayton's story here tears at my heart and I want you to know there are many who do believe your story. Something tells me those involved in threatening and intimidating you, are the same ones who have only continued behaviors they have been party to for years. How many more years will innocent citizens of Preble County be subjected to this? Copwatcher, is it too late for you to file a complaint about the intimidation and threats? You should think about it - they had no right.

Sorry, forgot this was about Eric White - yes, there are many grateful for those like Eric White. You don't find many in Preble County with the courage and leadership he displays. Keep it up Eric - you make a difference. However, do not take your warnings lightly - good to post them here.

Eric White; I hear from your reviews that you are an alright guy. If this is the case, how about looking into the triple homicide of Donnie Marker, Melinda Newcomb and David Smelzer? In fact, instead of just looking into it, how about solving it? Not stopping at that how about checking out PCCS? It will be worth your time, I'm certain. Do you have a response to this? Thank You,
Lori Marker

I think everyone needs to step back and re-assess anyone involved at all with any governmental official or a government official's secret motives. You mentioned PCCS well that place has been crooked for 20 years or more. No one has been able to crack that place completely.
