I know this thread is pretty dead but I thought I would comment on
Kelly Camargo's murder as I am related to someone who was personally affected by it. I've been doing a little digging of my own and as a result have become very interested in this being solved. Note: I don't live and never have lived in Hamilton, but I do think that a lot of people there are more involved than they would like to say, and that this case is literally so close to being solved. There are definitely some red flags as far as investigation being stilted with little or no progress, either due to incompetence of beauracracy, that specific area, or corruption (which is, of course, worst case scenario.) A lot of the information on this case seems to be accessible mostly to those from the area or to the family who were involved, so not all of my understanding of events are accurate, but if others work with me and edit the confusion I have we may be able to bring something helpful to surface. I also want to say thank you to Ryan Frankenfield for posting those videos of Kelly. I never got to meet her myself so it warms my heart to see her so happy and full of life. I hope those videos brought peace to everyone who knew her and missed her voice.
I'm going to break this down into a few categories so that this is easier to read.

Doing some digging of my own - which was incredibly frustrating as the page had been deleted - I found at least some information that might be useful. The OP claimed that he was interested in the case himself and was asking if anyone had any information. From what it looks like, he knew a lot of people in Hamilton, and claims that he is (or was since this was a few years ago) married to a woman who was friends with Kelly in highschool. He also says that he has spoken with some of the other girls Kelly was with that night, carefully not giving names, and drops information that they said Kelly got into a small black car with a dark haired man in search of pot (at the time they told police it was just cigarettes because, of course, they were scared teenagers.)
Apparently none of them, or at least the one's he's talked to, knew whether or not Kelly knew the man, but it seemed like she did with the way she spoke to him.
I think small black car with a dark haired man is pretty vague, and may not even be entirely helpful as eye witness is often wrong especially in a case that's been open for nearly 26 years. Time of the crime should also be taken into account as dim lighting could have made everything look darker. It's not exactly reliable - let's remember that witnesses claimed that Ted Bundy was blonde and Son of Sam was black - but it's still something that can be helpful to at least keep in mind when looking further into this case.
The OP who gave all this information began speaking about his personal life growing up in Hamilton and claimed that his name was
Mike Kendrick. I haven't been able to find any social media accounts with him on facebook, and his other username for the account (strangerwithcandy11) has all but been wiped off the face of the Earth. If anyone can find him, he may be able to give some leads as to who to talk to in regards to the events leading up to Kelly's murder.
It might help to know that he was a Chicago Bears fan!!
D.V. & L.J. (From earlier in this thread)
I started looking into this due to Rich's comment, and even tried to find Rich on facebook so that I could get in contact with his family (if you see this I would love to talk to you further about your claim.) I wasn't exactly sure which Delmar you meant as there is a Jr and Sr, however I figured it could be either as Jr would have been 29 and Sr would have been 54 at the time of the crime. I couldn't get much from free background checks aside from age and indication of criminal records, but on their Facebooks it seems that both have dark hair (although considering Sr was 54 I'm not sure if that would keep him as a suspect.) Lance Jones, another name mentioned and who I've even personally heard mentioned aloud from my connection, also seemed to have dark hair. Again, not a lot of information could be gleamed, but he would have been 22 years of age when the crime was committed and also seems to have some kind of criminal record. (Note: when I mention criminal record it's VERY possible that these could be minor offenses like DUIs and speeding tickets!!!)
More information is needed on these individuals so that
DNA I was doing some research as to how long, on average, a DNA test should take to process. Obviously three-four years is too many, most are usually processed in three-four days at the most. I'm sure family who are more personally involved know whether or not anything came from it, but considering it's a DNA test they probably ran it against a database of other previously offending individuals. Meaning those with criminal records could possibly be excluded depending on whether or not this crime was committed alone, odds are it probably wasn't. But suddenly and very publicly claiming DNA could possibly close an otherwise cold case and then immediately abandoning reporting on it seems strange. However it's most likely because they couldn't find anything that matched.
POSSIBLE THEORY?Moving away from that, the same article from 2015 that I mentioned earlier has an interesting quote from Snowden:
Whoever left the teen’s body beneath a pile of brush had to have been familiar with the area, Snowden said.“When we first came back there, there was actually a gate,” he said. “And you had to physically get out and unlock the gate and go through that gate to get back here.”
I'm sure you've all seen the article
but here's a link so I can cite my source. This could definitely be Delmar if what Rich said in an earlier post is true, quote: "the farm that Kelly was found on, at the time belonged to a family member of mine. I know for a fact D. V. had been there in 1990."
There is an obvious connection, I think the police are just having a hard time getting any solid evidence on the parties involved. I'm going to continue looking into that DABear post and try to find the guy who claimed he knew people who were wit her the night of the crime.
If anyone has anything, they really ought to step forward with what really happened. Twenty-six years later a family is still grieving over their loved one.
