I hope it is ok,but I thought I would start a thread where we could ask questions and maybe someone can answer them for us.
My question is what is an unclassified offense? If it is considered an open case why would it be called that?

SayWhat, this is an excellent thread.
I quickly tried to bring up the definition "unclassified offense" by googling, but did not get anything. I would think it defines an offense in which no charges have yet been brought, therefore a classification (felony, misdemeanor, etc) has not yet been assigned.
Is there a particular document or news article that you have taken your question from?
I will search for the correct definition when I have a little free time.

Thanks Admin. Yeah,it is from a police report that I have that a girl(17 at the time) went to the PC sherrifs office and filed a report on her father for asking her to do some pretty raunchy stuff with him and it was going on for awhile and she was afraid of him. She also filed that he was selling prescription drugs infront of her. She has since turned 18 and went to get the report to turn over to the county commissioners and all it is,is the front police report page that says complaint type-unclassified offense and complaint status-open.It also says 1940 transporting F to and has her address. The second page says call handled previously by 68-7/ children services. Her written statement is not with it and when she ask for a copy of it they said there was none. I was just curious.
Now question #2 Should small (any)children be around this man until they at least close the case and find him to not be a pervert?

Now question #2 Should small (any)children be around this man until they at least close the case and find him to not be a pervert I hope I am not out of line by commenting on this but I do not understand why the written statement was not with the police report. Is she sure she submitted a written statement? This caught my attention because I remember seeing things in the Register Herald about an investigation of the local Childrens Board. Why would the authorities not deal with this man in court? What is the status of the investigation? If the young lady feels she did not receive the kind of attention called for she may want to consult an attorney. It is possible that her civil rights were abused and she may have to make the final blow to the abuser in civil court rather than in criminal; it is posible that the childrens board and the sheriff's office may be liable as well.

DaddyWorries, you have just received a taste of what many of us are so upset about....crucial documents in our cases, just disappearing into thin air from government offices. Missing or falsified documents are prevalent in nearly every one of the cases on this forum, we need a federal agency to acknowledge that this is too much to be an oversight or coincidence.

So what is up with the new "required" log-in to view this webpage?
This place gets very little activity. I am so disappointed by that. The Talkeaton site was so very hot for so very long. Those threads/forums are long gone now. There was so much info and allegations made which should/could have resulted in slander/liable issues but didn't. Makes one (me) wonder....
Another question, what is up with the case of David Scott threatening a public official? Those are some serious charges and God bless him for putting his very freedom on the line for his brother. Would love an update on that issue. Don't waste time or words at Talkeaton. Birds of a feather and all that....

Sixdegrees, I recently converted to a required log-in because this board was regularly infiltrated by spammers who would embed links in their posts which would destroy files and hard-drives. I have the capability to delete their posts, but had no way to stop them from posting because they were able to post as a guest. Now, although a malicious post can still be submitted, I am able to ban the IP address permanently. I may go back to an open forum, but we are receiving no less hits than before so at this point it is working for the sake of the board. I welcome opinions on this and would be willing to reconsider.
It is sad to now see such little activity here, and even I am guilty of "burning out". I needed to step away after the Consolidated Rd. memorial - I had spent that year furiously working at my keyboard and setting other priorities aside. I returned from that trip with a blood clot in my lung and my computer hacked. However, I am regaining a second breath and your post may just be the kick in the butt I needed to give this board the attention it needs. The board has been receiving a healthy number of daily hits despite the lack of activity, and I am most grateful to everyone for their interest. Away from this board, I have some things in the works and I will never stop fighting until the world knows the truth about Preble County.
TalkEaton changed my life and there are no words to properly express my gratitude for the people and opportunities and information that was gifted me there. The complete loss of those threads are a travesty. Many things that were posted there made me gain respect of some, and opened my eyes to the truth of others. It would be my greatest pleasure to see some of those threads be continued here.
When I think of Billy Scott sitting in prison I can literally hear a clock slowly ticking, and it turns my stomach to think how long he has waited for a chance at justice. All the Scott family asks for is a FAIR trial with ALL the evidence. With no prosecutor's buddies on the grand jury. With DNA evidence submitted. With proof of witness tampering investigated. With proof of corruption by officials in all the other cases. Their desperation to have an honest investigation is heart-wrenching and certainly understandable. They are admirable how far they will go to make things happen, and they are incredible in their love for each other. I have been thinking of writing up a little something about David Scott's case and I can see that now is the time to get it done.
Thanks for the inspiration, Sixdegrees, and I look forward to seeing you around this board.
